What's New
Tuesday, 27 July 2010

On a perfect Tuesday morning, as I was stepping outside of my nyc apartment, I see some construction workers lowering a wooded walkway across the main entrance. The walkway didn't seem too stable, and I decided to leap over it! There were no warning signs, only woahs and yelps as I was up in the air; when I realized what had happened, gravity had already took hold of the situation.

As I landed, all the screams and yelps commenced to defeated sighs. My foot sank shin-deep into fresh cement.

Not expecting this shock I began loosing balance, and tried getting out of the trenches by quickly moving forward. Taking another step, I made another imprint right in front of me, but without thinking kept walking forward to get out.

The construction men slapped their foreheads and shook their heads with disbelief.

Finally, I made it out on safe grounds, and went to the first fire hose I saw to meticulously wash off my feet and sandals.

True story!

Misha you crack me up. That should have been caught on film with the expression on your face, while you were in the air, when you first realized that when gravity took hold that you would be landing in the cement. Priceless! ¢¾
